Crazy Taco - Staten Island

The tacos at this restaurant are excellent, crafted with high-quality meat and ingredients. They are fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I placed an order with this restaurant two Saturdays ago, ordering 5 items. When the order was placed, Grubhub notified me that it would take about 1-1hr 10 minutes for delivery. After 25 minutes, I received a call from the chef informing me that one of the items I ordered was not in stock. I had actually ordered 2 of this dessert, but the chef insisted on sending it to me on Monday. When the food finally arrived after 2 hours and 25 minutes, it was cold and not worth the wait. The dessert I wanted was missing, the beef tacos were dry, and the rice had a smoky taste that I didn't enjoy. I found bone lumps in my food, which was very off-putting. I contacted the restaurant on the 29th to inform them of the missing items and was promised a refund, but as of the 5th of the month, the fee had not been refunded. When I reached out to Grubhub for help, they assured me that the refund would be processed within the next 5 days. Overall, my experience with this restaurant, Portobello Caffe, was disappointing and I will not be ordering from them again. Wishing them luck in staying in business.
