Kimchi Korean - State College

Edit: We come here almost every week now and quality of the side dishes have gotten better. Staff are always friendly. It's the only Korean restaurant you should go to in State College if you want to experience home cooked Korean dishes. We ordered ricecakes, yookaejang, spicy seafood noodle soup and kids bulgogi. Rice cake was nice and soft. A little expensive for the amountyou get. Great portions for the rest especially the kids meal. Side dishes are a no. Kimchi was too ripe and very fishy.Cucumber was ripe too. I prefer them a little crispier and fresher. Overall okay experience considering there are not manyKorean restaurants in State College, PA area. Food taste wise I'm comparing with Korean restaurants found in the DMV area.

Classic Korean restaurant? for state college but it?s pretty good. Definitely a staple that is perfect for hangovers. Love the honchos pretty good service

I prefer them a little craspier and fresher. overall good experience in considering that there are not many Korean restaurants in state college, pa area. eating taste wisely I compare with Korean restaurants found in the DMV area.

That was the first time for my wife and I try Korean food. it didn't disappoint! I had the spicy seafood udong and she had the galbi dolsot. both meal times were super filled and had the perfect amount of seasoned. our meals came with a suppe, kimchi, hot pickles and fishballs, which were also endless beside dishes. our server was very nice to surpass the experience. can't wait to come back.

Definitiw not the best Korean restaurant in pa, but I always had a great experience here.
