Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is not living up to its former glory. I ordered a mahi special, which had an unpleasant smell and looked even worse. It was so unappetizing that I couldn't bring myself to eat it, taking only a single bite.
We always order the prime rib sandwich, and it's delicious, especially when paired with the fried mushrooms.
My friends and I dined at Harvey's every Thursday for three years, which adds up to quite a few meals. Unfortunately, it's also the only restaurant in Starkville where we've had some surprising experiences: a bug in our tea, a rubber band in our pasta sauce, a bread tie in our salad (twice), and we even witnessed clean glasses being stored on the floor next to the restrooms. We felt fortunate that we didn't suffer any unpleasant effects before 4 PM, as we all work until 5. While it is undeniably one of the greasiest spots in town, it does have a wonderfully charming atmosphere. It's a shame that Jay, who would have never approved of these issues, has moved on.
Excellent service! The lemon pepper chicken and the seafood pasta were both outstanding. The ambiance was great as well. I will definitely be back!
My group and I dined there every Thursday for three years, which adds up to quite a few meals. Harvey's is the only restaurant in Starkville where we've encountered a bug in our tea, a rubber band in our pasta sauce, a bread tie in our salad twice, and noticed clean glasses being stored on the floor next to the bathrooms. We were relieved that none of us experienced any severe gastrointestinal issues after these meals since we all had to work the next day. Despite these experiences, the atmosphere is charming and inviting, and the city has a generous spirit. It's a shame Jay would not have approved; sadly, he continued to support the place.
