My favourite place to share dinner..... Has never disappointed yet! Brayn and Zara make the visit memorable.....

I would highly recommend this pub! Whether you're going with a group of friends for a family gathering or just as a couple for dinner, it is wonderful. The atmosphere inside is very cozy, and the food and service are excellent. I will definitely be coming back! (Sorry, I was having such a good time that I forgot to take photos of the delicious food.)

We had a fantastic experience at this pub! We stumbled upon it as a convenient meeting spot with friends and decided to try it out based on the positive reviews and the tempting menu on their website. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch, booking a table in the dog-friendly bar area. We ended up spending over 4 hours there, feeling welcomed the entire time. The food was outstanding - the Sunday roasts were some of the best we've had, with tender meat, delicious gravy, crispy potatoes, and lovely side vegetables. Other dishes like the beef cheek and cauliflower katsu curry were also fantastic. Starters and desserts were top notch as well, and the 3-course meal for £19.99 was a great deal. We definitely plan on meeting there again in the future. The pub even had a friendly dog and the owners were very welcoming. Overall, it was a great Sunday experience, complemented by a pleasant 4-mile walk we found to do in the village beforehand.

Absolutely first class. Wood burner roaring on a cold winter night. Really friendly service and the food could not have been better. A 5 star experience. So lovely to find somewhere that is not part of a big group of restaurants. Cosy with a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely return. Thank you for a perfect evening

Family of four popped in en route to Liverpool, absolutely amazing meal. Not overpriced and really good food. Great service and lovely interior and garden. Highly recommended we’ll definitely come back. Loved it.
