Wimpy - Stafford

I discovered this restaurant on the Wimpy website and decided to visit the Wimpy International Grill in the village, which turned out to be a takeaway stand rather than a sit-down Wimpy bar. Unfortunately, there was no international grill experience for me. However, I found happiness at the nearby pub next door.

This restaurant consistently serves delicious hot dips with great service. We used to live a mile away and enjoyed it as a treat, but now that we live in the countryside, we felt compelled to return for our favorite dish during a recent visit. The restaurant and surroundings are always clean and well-maintained, and the extra safety measures in place for employees and customers were excellent. It's easy to see why this hidden gem continues to thrive. We hope it can keep going so that we can keep coming back!

I discovered this hidden gem on a Saturday morning and ordered two burgers, fries, and drinks. It had been years since I last had a Wimpy burger and I had always preferred McDonald's. I couldn't wait to dig into my food, but when I looked at the burger, it was nothing like Wimpy used to be. I took a bite and immediately threw it away. It tasted like a burger from a dive or something. Greasy and awful. I will never go back. Disappointed.

I haven’t been to Wimpy in donkeys years but was pleased I went, it’s great. Yes it’s slightly more expensive than McDonald’s but it tastes better, tastes fresher and is supporting a culinary institution. Click and collect worked brilliantly, you could even choose your pick...up slot and also customise your burgers. Milkshakes were thick (as they should be and you can also order bottles of their special sauce. Last praise goes to the staff they were superb. Working their socks off, they did it with a smile on their face and were polite and friendly throughout. There was a slight error with my order (not surprised with how busy they were but they dealt with it brilliantly and left me really impressed with their customer service. If their boss is reading this they deserve a raise! Overall great experience and I shall visit again when I next go to Cannock chase!
