Advertised as the best zoo in the world, and I for one can well believe it! Nice and big enclosures for the animals, who all appear to be content Also the abundance of trees, plants, shrubs and flowers in the grounds are fabulous Very impressed by the fact that you can hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair FREE of charge! This came in handy for my elderly mother (must book in advance) thos service I believe is run by a charity and do accept donations My mother and kids enjoyed chester zoo immensely and we will definitely be returning One criticism (as a smoker) the smoking areas are not sign posted and very difficult to find Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic to visit this wonderful pub have been going to the star since the early 1980s. great landlady, excellent beer and interesting clientele.
