This restaurant's carvery can be inconsistent - sometimes it's excellent, other times it's terrible. The meat is often overcooked and seems like it's been sitting on the hot plate for too long.

We visited here while we were on our recent canal boat holiday. we were a party of 7 adults and decided to try the carvery. it was very hot and many different veg options. our party was so satisfied with eating that they not only insisted that we stay the night and go for everyone who can eat them the next morning, but they insisted on stopping there for another caries on the way to home.

Excellent pub food and carvery for a good price. the place is also very cozy with a beautiful garden with sun umbrellas if you want to stay outside. they also have good vegan carvery, if they want (resolved nuts.) my daughter loves it. the personal is gentle and always available to help. I am a recurring costumer and will certainly come back and recommend.
