The Northern Lights - Stafford

Just had fish and chips, to start with there was very little fish just batter and the chips were cold. No way would I ever recommend this place, I shoul have taken it back.

The menu has great options to choose from. The fish and chips were exceptional and the service was excellent with a friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a bag of chips and was surprised at the size - it was medium, so I can only imagine how small would look like. Unfortunately, they were stuck to the paper so half of them remained attached when I tried to eat them. It was a shame.

During our caravan holiday in Stafford, we visited a Fish Bar twice and had excellent fish and chips each time. The fish was thick and flaky, with crispy batter and the chips were perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were generous and the prices reasonable. We have tried fish and chips in many places during our travels, but these were among the best. The staff were friendly and we highly recommend a visit. There is plenty of street parking available and a Co-op across the road for bread, butter, and beer to accompany your meal.

I have been using this chippy for years. The food is excellent, the staff are lovely. I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended
