Dionysos - Stadthagen

To take it right away. The “Dionysos” was a disappointment for us and we will not try our luck again. We were there on the basis of a recommendation, with four people on a Sunday for lunch and simply cannot understand the very positive internet reviews about the “Dionysos” (naja, weren’t many and are already a little longer). As friends of Greek cuisine and compared to other Greek restaurants, we did not like the food this day at all. The Gyros from the Rhodes plate was simply too dry, not crispy and also without the typical Gyros taste from the spine, it tasted as if it had been warmed up in the pan. My bifteki with sheep cheese – which I had not found at all – was filled with tomatoes and peperoni, which I do not like at all and also do not know from other Greek restaurants. This is not for me the praised “Greek Gratitude”. If tomatoes and peppers are in it, this must also be recognizable from the map. The only positive was the service, the Philoxenia (hospitality) and the prices. We agreed that it was a mistake to try lunch in the “Dionysos”. Only good that there are more much better Greek restaurants in Stadthagen and surroundings.
