The Big Catch At Salt Creek

Call before you go if you want to listen to the live music. They may have a cancellation or the May be filming a movie and not post it. We love the place to kick off our weekends, but not when there is a movie filming!Parking: Isulu a good place, but watch out for the curve balls.

We went to The Big Catch for lunch and had Fatima as our server. We ordered the Blackened Snapper which was excellent. The presentation was beautiful, the portion size was very generous and the taste was amazing. Also included in our order was the 1/2 pound of cold shrimp. There were 9 large shrimp, lemon and cocktail sauce. The shrimp were fresh, tasty and satisfied my hunger. Fatima waited on us which completed our great experience. She was personable and attentive. We can't wait to get back for Happy Hour!Parking: Easy and free!

Great place to goto by boat or by car. Love the live music and have heard some good artists here. Drinks are always cold too!

It does take a little while for to get your food when ordered because everything is made to order well loose. That's what we were told. I just think the cooks just a little bit too slow for a busy atmosphere. Been all in all. It was so good. Meal didn't get everything that we ordered and anything we did order. The burgers were made wrong. My buddy wanted his medium rare. I wanted mine medium. They both came out medium. Well that just kind of tells me that the cooks just a little under experience which I find hard to believe the grouper sandwich was awesome. The french fries were very good. Red beans and rice couldn't use a little more beans than rice, but everybody's got their opinion the restaurant sits right along salt Creek just before throw Hill on 3rd Street SouthKid-friendliness: They will definitely they make sure kids keep busy. So how plenty time before the meal gets there and you're going to need it?Parking: The parking lot is made of all rock and gravel for us. The motorcyclist. Not a pleasant things to be on. There's no asphalt, no concrete close with all the money that this place is making. Don't see why they couldn't redo the parking lot or concrete It would definitely make it a lot safer for us there is all street parking so make sure you park on the right side of the roadWheelchair accessibility: Once again, there's no smooth surfaces in the parking lot. Makes it a little difficult for wheelchair scooters. No problem, but the wheelchair is a little challenging on a rough surface. There's no concrete pad for wheelchairs to go upon without getting stuck through gravel and rock and limestone so if you're in a wheelchair and you got to wheel yourself there, it's going to be a challenge.

Delicious food in decent portion/value! Boil fish sandwich was delicious. Convenient stop on the way down from Tampa traveling the west coast (technically is waterfront but not an “ocean” view I misread the map)
