Naan Boti Chai Shai - St Petersburg

I was greeted with a rude, loud obnoxious person who wanted me to PAY FIRST (which is fine, but there 's always a courteous way to ask walk-in customers).Anyway, I continued with buffet (average taste), but this dude kept interrupting me with his do you need something, I will make you a tea, how 's the food etc etc). Im surprised that this business is still running with such a service. I tend to tip well, but this time, I decided not to. It also felt like I was subjected to selective treatment due to my ethnicity.There was one couple already raising their eyebrows on what I was facing, but I kept my composure to not to react. I 'm never going to this place again! I 'm utterly disappointed!!

One of the best restaurants in all of St. Pete! Everything single thing on the menu is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is calm and incredibly inviting. Thank you for the amazing time! We can’t wait to be back again!

Me n my buddy went here for a late lunch around 4-4.30pmIt was buffet and about $30/person.They had chicken, lamb and mutton.Food tasted good, the tandoori chicken tasted amazing, but both of us got severe diarrhea for next 2 days, we had to get medication (loperamide HCL), apparently you cannot take more than 4 pills in 24 hours period but even after taking 4 within 12 hours we still had to go 5-6 times that night. Only water and stomach acids, if you know the Bobby Lee explosive diarrhea episode from Bad Friends podcast where he poops in the back of his Prius. It was similar situation. It was horrible. Today is Day-3 and both of us still have the poops. It ruined our trip.This place has great reviews that’s why we decided to go here. Our situation could be a one-off thing, but to be fair we did go late in the afternoon at 4.30pm and all the meat entree trays were uncovered on a low flame sterno, so it could be bacteria growth through the day since I’m guessing they make their food for the day early in the morning.PS- you can’t pay with credit cards here, it’s only CASH or ZELLE which is kinda sketchy. And tbh, the prices are pretty steep too.Unsolicited advice- the owner is very loud, so if you’re looking for a peaceful meal, you’re better off somewhere else.

Amazing Indian/Pakistani restaurant with a great lunch buffet. It may not look like much from the outside, but inside is cool eclectic vibe. The owner is warm and friendly as he greeted you upon entering and is a wonderful guide to all the foods. I highly

Love this place! ? I am a huge fan of Indian Lunch Buffet. I think this may be the only one I'm St Pete! Authentic Ayurvedic Indian Cuisine and a very generous spread with many vegan options.
