Sandra's German - St. Pete Beach

This is undoubtedly the best meal we had on holiday. I'm saying food because that's what you get here. The owner cooks every meal to order and makes it as if you come family for a celebration. You can taste the love and care in every dish. You can hear that they knock every piece of meat in the kitchen after your order. She just works like a machine back there to make every dish special. Let the food die. The server, Ellah, is wonderful. It is direct and to the point, but also has a great sense of humor. Both were wonderful for my children and made them feel special. You just have to eat here when in the area. None of the other tourist places even come close. In my whole life this is the first time that we have died twice during a holiday in the same place. It was so good that we had to come back. My wife lived in Germany as a girl and this is as good as any German cuisine she had. Be ready to slow down, relax and enjoy a special food handmade with love.

The difference between food and a meal is found in this culinary experience. I am so happy that I decided to stop and try real, homestyle German food. My server Ella was knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was cooked with love, no abbreviations. I tried the Sauerbraten tsarte marinated beef and I highly recommend it. Apple strudel for dessert was perfect - not excessively sweet as in the supermarket. Honest, delicious food. Excellent service. That's how food should always be.

My wife and I go to a remnant we never tried for every anniversary (44 years). We were at least 10 German remnants and hands, this is the best German food we ever had! Service was great, personal and a pleasure to be in a place where the staff really cares. We will be regular customers and if you like German food, Sandra's German Restraunt is a must!

This place is an absolute jewel!!! All right! Our waitress was super funny and very attentive. Thank you Ella! The cook/owner has everything handmade and even came out to talk to our family during the meal. My two-and-a-half-year-old nephew and his friend got a little wiggly, so she offered to run them through the kitchen that my sister-in-law said was flawless. She works super hard! The food was from this world! Delicious and authentic. You can taste the love and passion she puts in her food. Everybody cleaned their plates! The Jaeger schnitzel and Spatzel was AMAZING. I tried a bite of my dad's bratwurst and it was the best recorder I ever had hands. We love to meet you ladies and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone we know that visiting the St. Pete area! Thank you for your skill and hospitality. Love, the Spalding family.

Service and food were excellent. Can't wait to go back, but I will make a reservation so I am assured a table since this is a small place. The food was delicious. I was so full but the food wasn't heavy. Bring your appetite or bring some home for lunch the next day. You get great portions for the ....getting hungry just thinking about my dinner from last night. Don't forget to enjoy a nice glass of German beer or wine too.
