Staff, views, pool, rooms, and beach all amazing! Plus access to the bigger sister hotel for watersports, music, etc.1000% recommend and will be back!!Our vacation was cut short as we were evacuated due to hurricane but the staff kept in close contact, offered to help with finding other accomdations, and gave us plenty of notice.

Best service at beach. Fabian was great setting our lounges and umbrella keeping everyone happy. Good guy. Pool bar had great help. Food and drinks were great!

Overall our stay at this location was fair for the price of rooms, however we weren't overly impressed. The room service food we ordered was horrible! Definitely wasn't worth $50 for two grouper sandwiches.

Service is lovely but minimal. This is the resort just north of the Don on Gulf. Lovely units and beach access. Pool and Hot Tub. Limited food on site but plenty nearby and room service from the Don, plus shuttle service up to a mile from the resort. $38 a day resort fee includes kayak and paddle board access, beach cabanas with umbrella, and two bottles of water. Ice machine is on the main floor only.Rooms: Spacious and family friendly.Nearby activities: Lots of local restaurants and bars nearby.Walkability: Walkable to many places all along Gulf.

Prime beach front location, great staff, very clean and spacious rooms, but the resort falls well short of the high expectations associated with the Don Cesar name. This hotel should enhance and embody the Don Cesar by providing a 5 star experience as an ancillary hotel for additional space that can accommodate larger parties, but the building exterior, pool area, and facility needs a major refresh and overhaul. With some capital improvements to the facilities and resort area, it could be the upscale hotel that it should be. The house suites are still far better than most of the hotels on the beach, and they offer a shuttle to the Don Cesar and all of it's amenities. The proximity of the location to everything and beach access is supreme and can’t be beat. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
