Le Chalet des Bains - St-Maurice

This was a perfect Swiss chalet restaurant to fit with a typical menu. traditional farewell, which was well presented and substantiated. plus faster and more efficient service with a smile. not complaining.

That was the best restaurant I had eaten in the Swiss. great eating, cooked with high quality ingredients, nice staff. I recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed a fondue aux bolets (mushrooms) and a lovely wine recommended by the genial owner. They don't have meat fondue, and these Swiss specialties are for 2 or more, so check with your guest first .. they also offer choices for one, but not...those swiss favorites.

We went there after the Thermal Bath of Lavey. It is a two minutes walk, The kitchen only open at 7:00 p.m. They have a great choice of Swiss wine. All four main courses were delicious. If you want a raclette, you need to eat...outside. The desserts were fantastic but a little bit expensice.

When we first switched off a bit from the fact that the hotel restaurant is buffet style, we chose this restaurant. it stood up in order, but the food was good, not great, and the service, while friendly, was caimatiw: she forgot the rally with our tartiflette,...and they forgot the ice with the tarte tatin. the following evening we tried the hotel buffet restaurant and it was much better quality and service, and also cheaper.
