Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams - St. Louis

The lemon bar ice cream was refreshing and incredibly creamy. The staff were friendly and well-informed about the ingredients used in the cone.

Jeni's offers a variety of unique vegan ice cream flavors beyond the typical vanilla, chocolate, and fruity sorbets. Some of their flavors include Texas Sheet Cake, Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns, and Lemon Bar. While some flavors contain gluten/wheat, they also offer gluten-free vegan options. My favorite flavors are the lemon bar and orange freeze. Although the prices are a bit high, they have a rewards program available for customers to sign up for. Expect long lines during the spring-autumn season, but it is less crowded before 5pm on weekdays and after 10pm on weekends. Vegan scoop flavors tend to sell out quickly, so it is recommended to go early or purchase a pint to go as a backup option.

I am always excited to see that they offer the chocolate Texas sheet cake flavor at this restaurant. You can order it in a bowl or a sugar cone, but please note that the waffle cone is not vegan.

This place is so funny! we stopped on the recommendation of our server at 55 south in franklin (they have to go there and are so glad that we made it! the taste choices were not only numerous, but there was quite a variety! we loved it so much, we went two nights to follow. I love that they allow us to try as many aromen as we wanted before we make a decision! we went to two different places and enjoyed both. we'll be back when we're in the opposite.
