Dino's Deli - St. Louis

Location closed permanently along with many others at Westport area. Looks like area has been economically decimated due to the pandemic. Sad

The place was great! The food was quick and tasted fresh! I go there all of the time! Great place to go.

I had the Authentic Greek Gyro boxed lunch and it was delicious! The lamb portion was huge.

Planning to have lunch outdoors Westport on lovely day. Dino's an unexpected find. We had gyros on perfectly crisped pita bread with choices for meat, sauce condiments. Everything was tasty. Price was right. Comfortable seating indoors and outside.

... but their specialty of the house, the Greek gyro, was only fair in flavor overall satisfaction. First visit by my wife me to the Westport Plaza Dino's Deli, located in the middle set of storefronts of the Plaza in a corner shop adjacent to the Opa Wine Bar across from the Gateway Newsstand. The store is pretty much a smaller version of a Subway sandwich shop, leaning toward Greek and related Mediterranean foods flavors but with a good selection of standard toasted sandwiches. We ordered carry-outs late on a Friday morning; the two young clerks were friendly, with the girl preparing the food being especially attentive to customer needs. My wife very much enjoyed her Melina sandwich featuring grilled chicken breast bacon cheese (with a variety of toppings condiments available on request), and the large Greek salad we split was fresh very flavorful. Both the sandwich the salad afforded enough leftovers to cover our Friday dinner. My Greek gyro with beef lamb was middle-of-the-road compared to several other fast food gyros I've had. We will return to Dino's to try other lunch items, and we'll definitely order another salad.
