The food is always good, i wouldn’t trust these reviews that say it isn’t. i’ve been going for 3 years.

On September 18, 2019, I tried the hot braised chicken wings, and they were pretty tasty! I would definitely order those again. However, the rice was a bit on the salty side this time, but still not overwhelming. The vegetable egg rolls were just as delicious as before, and they once again followed my requests perfectly.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and the food is always consistently delicious. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I've never had any issues. I usually opt for takeout since the interior is... well, let's just say it's better to enjoy the meal at home.

Over the years, I've recommended this place to friends and family, all of whom have enjoyed their meals. I wish more locals who have frequented the restaurant could share their experiences, as these reviews don't accurately represent what this place truly offers. The service is prompt and friendly, the food is consistently delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Additionally, there's a lovely public library next door, established over 20 years ago, where you can pass the time if you need to wait. It's hard to believe this place has barely garnered 3 stars. Don't let these reviews, which seem to highlight very rare negative experiences, discourage you from trying it out. It’s definitely worth a visit and is a cherished part of Dogtown. P.S. It's important to note that third-party delivery services can create significant challenges for both customers and small businesses. These services often take a hefty portion of the profits, sometimes to the point where restaurants end up losing money on certain orders. However, restaurants feel they have no choice but to partner with them to survive. If you have issues with delivery wait times or payment discrepancies, please direct your concerns to Grubhub and DoorDash, rather than the restaurant staff, who are just trying to do their best.
