Bidra med feedbackStarted with a delicious pear margarita. Enjoyed each dish I tasted including the chicken taco, the enchilada, the achiote chicken, and the bravas potatoes. The restaurant is in the basement and looks pretty cool. The service was superb, each of the lovely ladies we had serve us were happy and friendly. That made the evening all the better.
The good - the deserts are excellent and the cocktails (but not the price of cocktails, which was excessive).The ordinary - the corn wasn't cooked, the chicken burrito was way too sweet and the enchilada was ok but insufficient filling. The drinks service was slow.Overall not great value for money.
Quirky location, quirky set-up indeed ! It turned out to be quite a sizeable venue. Quite a good selection of tapas offerings - not your average standards, some very innovative dishes indeed. We were the first ones there, and service was prompt (and friendly). It lacked atmosphere, probably because there were no one else there! The food we had was tasty enough, but not very exciting. Nonetheless, it was all devoured with gusto.
First thing that struck me was how dark it was and how loud the music was - I couldn't really tell you what it looked like inside due to the low light. In fact I couldn't even read the menu and the waitress couldn't read the bill! Anyway we ordered the ACHIOTE RUBBED CHICKEN THIGH, BBQ ZUCCHINI SALAD, ACHIOTE CHICKEN BURRITO
Had a pleasant meal here. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Service is pretty quick. The food and cocktails are nice and tasty. It's a bit expensive for what it is but it's good, and the environment is nice :)
