Two Buoys Bistro - St Julians

We arrived late as the restaurant stops serving food after 4pm on Sundays, but the staff kindly cooked up some delicious vegan lasagnas for us anyway, which was very kind. They offer a good selection of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise. The lasagnas were absolutely delicious! The only downside was that I couldn't get enough of it - I wanted more! The views overlooking the bay were beautiful. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and they even offered us blankets in case it got cold outside. Overall, it is a lovely place that is also affordable.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this fine vegan restaurant overlooking the bay. The new autumn menu was absolutely delicious, and even as a keto vegan, I found it to be perfect. This is now my favorite vegan restaurant.

I couldn't find any fault with this restaurant. The staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic about serving their vegan customers. They provided us with a lot of information about their menu and its origins. And the food was absolutely delicious! The homemade hummus that the chef welcomed us with was devoured so quickly that we forgot to take a photo. I ordered the special, which was a truffle and asparagus risotto, and it was a perfect 10/10. My boyfriend had the portobello mushroom dish and we both started with the mushroom soup, which was to die for! I would have given this place 5 stars.

I must say I was a little concerned about this place after reading some reviews but we had a lovely evening there. They brought out bread and dip and crackers which he highlighted was vegan (bean dip), the bread came out with some little packets of butter but I asked for olive oil which was brought over immediately. For mains I had a creamy mushroom penne in cashew creme and my partner had a saffron risotto. Mine was so good I was concerned it wasn’t vegan but the waiter definitely said vegan about ten times to reassure me! For desert I had the vegan cheesecake which was delish and definitely vegan as I have made these before and can tell, my partner has some black currant sorbet. It was odd that the other sorbet flavours were not vegan but this was the only one labelled vegan. The service was lovely and we even had some cats and dogs for company as it was pet friendly!

Several dishes of veganopitions. The staff knew what veganism is and served me special snacks. The food was nice. Will visit them again.
