Swany's Pub Grub - St. Johns

My son and I drove there from Lansing MI Saturday evening to get one of your famous burgers I have heard nothing but great raves about, but we were not the least impressed, we only get cheese on our burgers so you can really get a good taste of the meat, it was not real good at all, it had a different taste to it, almost a spoiled taste, I am sure people who get all the condiments on there burger would barely taste the meat but when you only get cheese you really taste the meat, living in Lansing we have some great burger places which puts your burger to shame, the place is Kewpees, you should try it sometime, you would never go to Swany's again

Swanys is the best place around Saint John's. Their food always hits the spot taste good ,great portions and those fresh buns can't be beat .

Food was great but service was even better. Best burger place for miles.

Very nice waitress that got our drinks and order in within 3 minutes of being seated. They have the Club Keno lottery going on 3 of the 6 TV's. The fries were delicious an they have a great rubin. Overall, a nice local restaurant in town. Kid-friendliness: If you have a kid, you might want to bring it through one of the three booths in the resturant. This is because most of the seats are right next to the bar. The booths will hide most of the shenanigans that have potential of happening at the front Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room for a wheel chair to come down in the aisle and come under a seat

Burgers were great, service was good. Was disappointed in the loaded fries for the price. Barely any cheese, and was shredded. Cute place.
