Onkel Tom's Hutte in der Koasaburg

We thought there was a drink in front of the mountain map. Terrible service! very rude staff. has taken incredibly long to get a drink and longer to get the bill and pay. I went in to pay there and got a big mouth of the waitress there, they were there chatting with 3 waitresses, rather they served the guests. If you are looking to get a piercing or tattoo, you might like the place as the waiters are full of them.

We stopped them on the descent. It was a bit disappointing. The staff was great, although the choice of food was limited. Maybe we caught it on a bad day?

We regularly stopped off at Onkel Toms on our hikes up the Kitzbuhlhorn. The service is very friendly and prompt, and the drinks and foods are inexpensive. They serve a wide range of iced cold non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, as well as local ice cream-...perfect after a hot ascend. We had the Koasaburger, which is a great burger, other than the bun being toasted a bit too much, the burger was full of spiciness and taste. Highly recommend this place.

Given that this is the only eatery at the middlestation (the main gondola station half way up the hill) we expected nothing from it. However it was a nice wooden chalet, friendly service and pretty decent food. If you are on the slopes this is...a good spot to arrange to meet people for lunch

We enjoyed our stay to strengthen ourselves with drinks and food. The facilities were also good for our children. Service was nice and the beer too. But we definitely didn't like the Germknödel. It was very bad. Don't try.
