Bidra med feedbackEating was great! great if you can get a table, they really were packed! had to come back twice to get a table, but it was worth it! they no longer do the seafood platter, unfortunately so had to settle for the small tellers! small tellers are really small portions, so order! we had 3x pint prawns, the popcorn garnelen was tasty, but the part was too small, only 4 garnel. but still it was all good. yummy food
As a rum and seafood lover, visiting here while in St Ives was a no brainer! We had the crab linguine (very generous portion) which was divine, and the crab tacos (more suitable for a small to medium sized appetite, or have a side order with them) which were really good. Followed with the cuban style doughnuts nice to be able to choose the filling. Served with some good quality ice cream. Staff were helpful and friendly. We visited mid week at lunchtime and it was easy to get a seat.
Nice rustic spot in St Ives! We came here since we were long time fans of the dead man’s rum that was born here and were really happy with the cocktails and rums here. The food was good although a little expensive but to be expected in St Ives, my partners food was messed up a little but sorted out quickly. Place has lovely character and the staff seemed really lovely and all working hard!
We stopped by after dining at another nearby restaurant and decided to indulge in some ice cream. We enjoyed sampling a variety of items from the extensive menu! The atmosphere here is lovely and relaxed, and we were able to switch tables for a window view, which enhanced our experience. The selection of dishes is outstanding, and the staff was courteous. While I appreciate the ambiance, I think the place could benefit from a little investment to improve its decor.
The seafood was excellent, and the service was friendly. It was quite busy on Friday night, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two around 7 PM. Unfortunately, they had run out of the jerk dish at that time. We ordered the Shack's Crab Stack plate for £55, which was more than enough for the two of us. The seafood was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The only downside was one dish that didn't impress us as much, but overall, we really enjoyed our meal. The rum cocktails were also fantastic. They have a happy hour from 12 PM to 6 PM with two drinks for £12, and from 6 PM to 9 PM with two drinks for £15.
