Bidra med feedbackWe had our Christmas lunch this year at Mauro’s the food was without exception very good started with an olive bread, followed by various starters of carpaccio of beef, avocado ritz and seafood ceviche followed by beef steak and platters of turkey and gammon deserts were apple strudel and walnut pie good service and great food!
The atmosphere...the food...the owner, Mauro and his wife, Lisa... and our waiter, Adele.... amazing. All 5 star...

Well was I blown away by this little hidden gem!!! Every single dish from the Pork Belly starter to the Crayfish Pasta was exquisitely prepared, presented and a gastronomic experience on the palette! Well worth a visit!
Dave and I drove back from East London, deciding to stop in Cape St. Francis on our way back. We had quite a strenuous drive, having run over a monkey on our way to Port Alfred. This resulted in the car needing to be towed, and us having to get a hire car on a Sunday. Not that simple in rural Africa. Friends of ours organized a Bed and Breakfast for us to stay in and the owner made a booking at Mauro’s in St. Francis for us.
