Changed a bit since last there but it's still a lovely place

Absolutely superb food and drinks (the vegetable Wellington being one of the best my partners ever eaten! In a lovely setting served by humble yet amazing staff. A round of applause to the barmaid and the chef who really couldn't have done more to make our visit memorable

We went for a nice lunch on our way to a few days away. Walked in the bar and ordered a drink then ordered some lunch only to find out an hour later that they’d lost our order. We were the only ones in there. Consequently left and got a meal deal from the CoOp as now we were stretched for time. Not what I had in mind

Superb food and lovely people Couldn’t fault it. Excellent food with very generous portions and great value too Dog friendly and nice management Thank you We will definitely come up again Rich Joanne
