Oscars at Larters - St. Catharines

I have enjoyed pre round breakfasts; after round lunches; and post tournament banquets at Larters and the food has always been excellent. And the service is always friendly, courteous and professional. If the chef or senior management are in the dining room they will check in with you to ask if you are enjoying your meal - I love the personalized touch.

We went to Larter for the Mother Day Buffet. The cost was $35.00 per person. It did not included coffee. There were a 100 items on the buffet. They had two types of egg benedict. Also a beef carvery station, crepe station etc. were some of features of the buffet. The dessert table had all lots of cakes and pastries. They only had cream pies.

My husband and I went here for Valentines Dinner. It was a set meal, with choices in each course. The food choices were well thought out and had items you'd expect for a special meal. I enjoyed the grilled caesar salad, shrimp and lobster bisque, and a main entree of salmon and tiger prawns. My husband's choices were nearly identical to mine and he highly enjoyed this meal, too. By the time we had eaten the dessert and sipped a cup of tea, we both agreed that there was no room for even a mint! We tend to go to Larters for special occasions and enjoy the dining room, the service and the food each time.

Made Reservations for Dinner during their Mexican Night. Was very impressed with the quality and quantity of dishes! Open to the public and would highly recommend going there for any meal! Also the view of the golf course and RedRiver make for a beautiful Sunset!

Fantastic chicken cacciatore soup. Lots of chicken and a tangy blend of spices. The Thai chicken wrap was huge with a crunchy mixture of vegetables and chicken. Definitely worth the trip!
