In my opinion, The Gables restaurant is a tourist trap. The food is mediocre and overpriced, and the service was terrible both times I visited.

I had the seafood platter, it was fresh and cooked to perfection!! The staff are very friendly..I eat here everytime I come to Saint Andrews!!
