Boat Drinks - St. Augustine

The experience was okay. The service was okay. Overall, it was an okay experience. There was a specific server that was pretty abrasive, which made the mood a little funky. I've only been there twice, the first time the drinks were tasty and the atmosphere was great. The second time, about two years later, the waitress was rude to a few people who came in while directing them to tables even though it is seat yourself... drinks were mediocre for the price. Truthfully, I would not go a 3rd time. Can't speak on the food, only had drinks but I have had friends who have left feeling sick.

This was the best. Burger. EVER. The patties are the perfect thinness with a crispy exterior. Not to mention the perfect meat to bun ratio. I’m not normally a fan of potato buns, but it adds the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. The pickles give it an amazing amount of acidity, pairing beautifully with the caramelized onions. I don’t care if this place is 45 minutes away from my house, I would drive two hours just for this burger. The atmosphere is always amazing and the staff is so kind. Not to mention the plantain chips are fabulous and add the perfect touch to a good meal. 100/10.

Dived in here looking for late night food and drinks and it didn’t disappoint! Great atmosphere, excellent food and amazing staff!

Maybe choose music that’s not insanely vulgar if you’re going to play it for the street as well as for your business. We walked by earlier and made note that we’d like to stop by in the evening, but the amount of children being subjected to that poor choice changed our minds for us.EDIT: Their response of “Thanks for telling us how to run our bar” says everything I need to know. My review isn’t about how you run your establishment, it’s about how you treat people who haven’t even decided to visit it. If I go to a business and it’s not for me, that’s fine, I just won’t come back. But parents walking their children through historic downtown St. Augustine don’t want them to hear swearing and racial slurs from the sound system of a business they’re not entering.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, vulgar music

I had a half dozen raw on the half shell that came from MA. They were fresh with almost a sweet taste.My wife and I had the mega rita spicy which we both highly recommend.They was great! Pleasant and very attentive. Joel, our bartender, was really fun to talk with and, we even got to meet and chat with Whitney, the owner.So, if you ever find yourself in St. Augustine, be sure to take the time to visit Boat Drinks. You won't be disappointed!
