Bidra med feedbackTried out the cinnamon buns.....I do not recommend! They used way to.much sugar and the cinnamon is over powering. I bought these at 3pm and they were already stale.
I came in a few months ago for a promo they were doing, I see that other people have had problems with promo, particularly at this locationI've been to other locations for similar promo and have never had any problems, this location, they said I must use the app, in the e-mail it never state that you need the app, the staff also mention that I won't be able to get the promo item right away I need to use the app, made my purchase, and get the item the next dayThe staff wasn't rude in any way, but it felt like they made what should be a very effortless situation very difficult, I went to another nearby location and got the promo without question, nor did I need to use to app
All the bread is fresh and amazing. We usually grab 2 kinds of sourdough (sliced), and we love their gourmet hamburger and hotdog buns. We sometimes buy everything bagels they are nice and dense.I would have given them a 5, but most times, their pastries aren't moist, and they do not seem fresh. I have tried the mini Danishs and cinnamon buns. (Delivery and in store purchased).Their cones are delicious ?! Very moist.
I’ve previously enjoyed the COBS brand but this location has been a miss for me more than once.On previous visits, staff just felt unwelcoming, food was mediocre. Similar to another review, hours before closing shelves were near empty. This visit was confusing to say the least. From the moment I entered the store there was no smile, no kindness, no “happy birthday”, no “congrats on your reward”. I don’t need those things but most stores offer some sort of acknowledgment. I do expect kindness and a basic level of decent customer service in a service industry establishment though. The last serving me was acting as though I was trying to take money out of her own pocket.I received an email from COBS to receive a free cinnamon bun for my birthday, so I went to redeem it while I was in the area. Email said no purchase necessary. The lady serving me was adamant that I needed an app and kept telling me she needed a barcode, but wasn’t clear on what the barcode was, so I was actively looking for a barcode associated with my offer only to realize she meant for my actual card. I had shown her my offer and asked if she knew where to go but she wasn’t helpful. She asked questions about when I signed up, whether I purchased anything in the past few months, etc.I had been logged into the website but realized I needed to redownload the app. I did so but needed to reset my password and wasn’t getting the password reset email. I left the store about 10 mins of trying and locking myself out. I got to my car and called COBS club who reset my password, but were unable to unlock my account. They said the offer can be redeemed without this by using my phone number and it should have been offered to me. I went back in and let the lady know and asked if she could redeem my offer via telephone number. She seemed caught off guard but took my number and said “see it says nothing found”. I asked her to try again since the COBS club rep was able to find it, so she did and found it. There was no comment about why she didn’t find it the first time. A few moments later she said unprompted “you should have known where to find the QR code”. Truthfully, I’m bad at using points cards in stores, especially if I have a toddler waiting on me and don’t immediately know where it is. Regardless, the comment was completely offside and unnecessary. I responded saying she should have known she can use my phone number and asked why she didn’t previously offer that to me and why she made this more difficult. She instantly became defensive and told me people “always try to get free stuff” so she “had to make sure” and was “just doing her job”. I reminded her that I got an email inviting me to redeem this reward, I didn’t come in asking for free things on my own, and she continued to be defensive and suggest I was trying to scam the bakery out of a free cinnamon bun. At one point she aggressively took the box off the counter and shuffled backwards as if I was robbing her when I tried to reach for it, telling me she “had to put it in the system” ? there’s nothing to scam and she already had my account up, I’m not sure why I wasn’t permitted to touch the box before she clicked the button but again, this entirely experience was just odd. After asking her name multiple times she began to apologize and say it had been a long day, but avoided giving her name until someone else walked in, as if she knew she was wrong in the way she was speaking to me but while it was just the two of us, it was a he said she said, as soon as a third person was there, she backed off and said it was “Tilda”.I can’t imagine why I was made to feel like a criminal over an item that probably has a .90 cost, but there are many other bakeries in the area with better tasting food who treat customers with respect and kindness and actually appear happy to serve customers, not bothered.
Would like them even better if there was one closer/in fort
