Greenside Restaurant - St Albans

If you are over 50 and looking for some meals like you used to enjoy before fancy food became the fad then this place is for you. All the old favourites--lambs fry--lambs brains-grilled salmon etc are on the fairly extensive menu and the prices will amaze. We live 20 plus Ks away but we will return

This was our first experience here and we were not dissappointed. We started with scallops and brains for our entrees and both dishes were quite good. Our mains included veal escallops and duckling and once again both were very tasty. It was quite a varied menu with something to suit most tastes. The portion sizea were generous and we left feeling satisfied and content.The decor is average but this is to be expected in a small club of this age. The food and value makes up for it and we had a very pleasant evening and will definitley be backto try some more dishes.

Yum, we love the BBQ at Taste of Texas! We've been to this restaurant several times and always had a great experience.

This restaurant exudes a heavenly smoky flavor! It's easy to overlook this gem.

The Alabama fried chicken was fantastic. The pork ribs were a bit dry, but still delicious. The dining area is cozy and intimate. I will definitely return.
