The Wicked Lady - St Albans

After not visiting this restaurant for several years due to a move to a different area, we decided to give it a try despite some negative reviews. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience, enjoying a delicious meal with attentive and helpful service from our waiter. The menu had options for everyone, and although there were a couple of ordering and billing mistakes, they were promptly and politely corrected. Despite the distance of over 20 miles, we will definitely be returning in the future as the quality of the food and service made it worth the trip, even though it was not a budget-friendly option.

I recently stumbled upon this restaurant and it was a fantastic discovery! The garden is beautiful and the food is incredible. I can't wait to return! We tried the roast pork belly and it was delicious. Thank you!

Service very slow. Our meal arrived one hour after the starter.

The food took an hour and a half to arrive. One dish was totally missing a key ingredient no aubergine in a vegan aubergine curry. We were told it would be taken off the bill but when handed the bill it was included still. All in all it was chaos
