Summit Restaurant & Edge Bar - Squamish

If your last download is 7pm and the people come from a walk, and plan to jump to the gondola around 7pm, it would be nice to have a drink around 6:25pm, but absolutely nothing was available as we saw people donation 35 mins... cleaning.

We went to the Gondola to have a new experience. It was our 10-year anniversary and the weather was very warm and sunny. We went to the restaurant and asked for a table for 3 on the outside deck so we could... enjoy the weather and the view. The hostess brought us to the deck and tried to put us on a table without umbrellas against the wall. We kindly wanted to sit at a table with a screen and say that these tables are only for larger groups. I suggested that there were about 10 empty tables with umbrellas and that there was 3pm, maybe they could make an accommodation for us, but we were told no. I pointed out that 2 3 pairs sit at tables with umbrellas and the hostess said this is your table. Immediately after we sat another couple, they had exactly the same experience, they were smart enough to go up and down. We waited for a while on a server to help us get the drinks we had ordered were good, the pommes were soggy that they were boiled in oil, that was 't hot enough... we would like to have lunch and some more drinks, but were completely shut off by all the experience. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here.

I didn't have in Whistler 40 years When I shot, there were 5 chairlifts and two pubs, one of which is the ski boat How wonderful to visit the past. Although I didn't recognize anything!!

Views are amazing at the top. I just have to survive the 8-minute gondola ride. The food is okay. Fries are extra when you buy the burger and the Pulled Pork Bowl was good. It seems a little expensive, but it's Canadian dollar... not too bad. There is a bar at the top mostly hoppy on tap, but they offer a full bar and bottles. Good place for a quick bite.

Despite having a monopoly in the area, it is disappointing that the restaurant does not put more effort into the quality of their food. However, the dishes were comforting and satisfying. The location and view are outstanding, which helps make up for the food. On a chilly day, a hot drink was very enjoyable. I appreciated the sauce selection, where you could sample all of them if desired.
