Bidra med feedbackReally great food and friendly service. We were told that the steaks here are the best in the mountains. My husband ordered the scotch fillet and it lived up to the promise. Perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. I just wanted something light so had the halloumi bruschette and it was fabulous.
Had a birthday party here. Excellent. Ate dinner from the bistro. Double excellent! So coming back. Staff are in top form. Do not miss it.
This is my go-to budget accommodation in the Blue Mountains. Rooms are neat, tidy and provide everything you need. Beds are ok as are pillows. There's even a small shared kitchenette area. Staff are friendly, food from the bistro really exceptional by pub standards. Entertainment great...Love the place! I have only ever stayed solo here, and love it everytime! My single complaint are the stairs to the rooms, I'm not a fan! But she's an old girl, and that's the nature of the building. Great place, central to lower and upper mountains. Close, as in across the road, to the railway station.
Great pub great food and a great supporter of live music.
Typical country town pub feel. We got their quite late as the kitchen was almost closed. Our party order Schnitzel Rolls, Steak Sandwiches and a Schnitzel. All of the food was delicious, especially the Pepper gravy. Decor was modern, clean and spacious. It was State of origin night and there was no problems with service. It was warm and cosy considering it was 4 degrees outside. Did not get a chance to try the steaks but the food was very nice. All in all a good experience.
