Nicola's - Springfield

Your food is good and drinks are great, but sitting in the bar. The service in the restaurant is very slow.

As always, you can trust the service is awesome and the food is spectacular. The only negative point is wishing for a larger variety of meal choices.Food: 5/5

Really, really bad food. Ordered a Filet and it tasted like hamburger, absolutely disgusting. Was in the bar area and the server was almost as bad as the food. Assuming they got a new cook and new waitstaff. Normally has great food but all of us had horrible meals and service. Very disappointing.

I had a great experience this evenings at Nicola's from the service to the food. I noticed immediately the quiet and soothing environment as everything is very well set up and spaced out nicely. I felt I was able to focus on my table and meal very well without some of the usual distractions that restaurants can have.

Excellent, friendly service and delicious, freshly made Italian dishes. Husband had the pork shank and it was so good he's ready to go again SOON. I had the pasta Nicola which was fresh made pasta, mushrooms, sausage w a little kick and a tomato creme sauce. So good! We split a wedge salad which was perfect. Their bread was fresh made and I could have eaten a lot more but stopped myself. Didn't have dessert but suspect it wouldn't disappoint.: They have a full bar and huge wine list. Loved the ambiance of this place and will definitely go back!
