They have pretty good food. I've been many times and will continue.
Amazing place. Food is delicious and workers are kind.
This is the best Mexican food I have had anywhere between Bloomington and Springfield. It is authentic, high quality, flavorful, and I have tried almost half the menu without there being a single thing I didn't like.Don't miss this place for any reason if you are looking for Mexican food that is top notch.
This review is from the perspective of expatriated Californians. Mexican food is part of California's culture. Since our move to Illinois, we have been in search of Mexican food true to the culture and to what we are accustomed to. Moroleon Tropical is the closest we have found to the authentic Mexican cuisine we were spoiled with in California. The Birria tacos are to die for. The enchiladas in suezas with chorizo are perfect. I love Chili Relleno. This dish is a poblano chili stuffed with cheese, dipped in batter, deep fried, and served with red sauce. Moroleon Tropical is the only restaurant I have found in Illinois that comes close to serving this dish properly. It is offered with cheese sauce (what is it with Illinois? Everything is smothered in chaso blanco!!?? Cheese sauce on everything! But I digress)...thankfully, per request, they will serve it with red sauce. We have enjoyed their Chimichungas, torts, burritos, and more. Also, the margaritas are the bomb! When we are craving Mexican cuisine, Moroleon Tropical has become our go-to restaurant!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is very colorful and festive
