Culver's - Springfield

We always enjoy Culver's. The dish of the day had alot of M and M's and chocolate in it-and smothered with caramel! Wonderful....

Definitely more expensive than fast food restaurants, but the food is better quality. The employees are very friendly, and every receipt can be redeemed for a free ice cream cone if you'll fill out their quick online survey!! Pretty simple way to save $2-$3 Burgers and fries are great, but so is the Fried Chicken!!!!

We hesitated to go in because of the crowd at the counter. While debating the issue, the crowd disappeared- the service was fast and efficient. The food hit the spot and a small dish of chocolate frozen custard was a great topper.

Took my wife and daughter as well as 3 grandchildren on a trip to the mall. 6 year old grandson was good so we decided on Culver's for some ice cream(custard). Ordered 4 small sundaes mealy $15. Told the counter person they were to go, she gave us a number and I once again said they were to go. 15 minutes of standing there and not seeing our order being filled but 5 other orders of ice cream that were taken after ours, we asked about ours. Could not find order and asked for receipt which we did not get. Finally found order in the computer and we asked for our money back. We then went to Dairy Queen.

I you want a good Reuben sandwich, don't order one at Culver's! I ordered the Reuben and the meat was full of fat. Also, the bread was soaked from all of the grease. I was unable to eat any of the sandwich...a big disappointment! My wife and I eat at Culver's at least once every 2-weeks. Prior to this visit, the food has always been above average. If you want the best Reuben sandwich in Springfield, IL, go to any of the Head West Sandwich shops.
