Shoney's - Springdale

Poorly kept it looks like. Bad management will ruin your business. Stopped in but definitely won't be back. It took forever. Clearly under staffed and the poor lady was trying to run everything while her help was wandering around.

Best buffet ive had since i started back driving tractor trailer 3 months ago ! Fried chicked was to die for , the pot roast was amazing , corn, green beans, cabbage and tomatoes n okra tasted like grandma was in the kitchen ! Their salad bar was fully stocked with everything you could think of to make a salad worthy of a kings table ! The service was fantastic, ive been to a lot of buffets around the country and once you order and get your drink ,youll see the waitstaff maybe once or twice before you leave , not here, i had a lil guy for a waiter and he was constantly (not annoying) checking on me as well as the other tables, he was top notch at keeping the plates cleared and my tea glass full ! I always tip ,even at buffets and on my $11 ticket i tipped him $5 he earned it and his sevice was worth 47% instead of 15% ! The ladies up front that greet you and run your ticket through the register were smiling and talking and in general set the atmosphere coming and going they were great and fun to talk to ! Those ladies and my waiter generated an atmosphere of a fun and enjoyable dining experience ! Next time im rolling thru Columbia sc i will definitely hit the Cayce exit for Shoneys again ! Thanks ladies n gentleman ! I enjoyed the food the people and I'll be back for both !

My family and I love going here on Sunday for brunch. Food is always fresh and hot and the waitresses as so sweet.

Everything was good The food bar was set up nice and everything was at a good temperature.

A couple of months ago I wouldn’t have given this place two stars. We were told that they were short staffed and it showed. We had decided not to go back but then we changed our minds a couple weeks ago and decided to just try the breakfast bar and see how it was. It was slamming!! Plenty of good breakfast food. Tanya the waitress is always great and on her feet. Her son who also works there is great as well. They are two of the most kindest souls. We also saw a few new faces there so hopefully their building a good team of employees. The manager (I think his name is Josh) but not certain is also amazing and very kind.. keep up the good work and we’ll see you for breakfast.
