Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

First of all I'm a out of towner and I was traveling to Palmdale CA from Utah me and my fiancee where hungry I was craving something sweet and delicious so we decided to go to the cracker barrel so there I was gazing thru there menu and I decided to order there cream cheese pancakes looked delicious right well after I received the plate it came with what I thought to be some type of syrup but turned out to be barbeque sauce it totally ruined my appetite I told the manager and she said so sorry and walked away so that's what I did I got up and walked away did I pay of course not I will never go to any cracker barrel again she didn't even offer to give me free meals or gift card or anything she just said sorry and walked away. That's my experience at the cracker barrel.

Been going to Cracker Barrel for years now. We love their meatloaf, Mac and cheese, hasbrown casserole, chicken and dumplings, and any of their breakfast items. Their side salad is a meal on its own. Now the cons, I know I know how can they have cons right. Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken were salty, and the the chicken fried steak was soggy from the gravy. I was excited to get their $6 take out meal, I thought what a great deal, until I saw the portion given. My mom loves this place but I think we may start going to a ma and pa restaurants.

It felt rushed, they brought us the check right away as soon as the food was brought, and asked if we needed anything else. It wasn’t even busy for them needing the table. I was given a separate check for my additional order. It was the only downside for my first time going there. The food was great.

April 6 2024 around 10:15 Am I was served went to go use the bathroom came back everything was thrown away even my alcohol sanitizer there was no indication I was done eating at all there was several mistakes made at that time and Carlos still wanted me to pay for food I didn’t even eat he only took off 5 dollars and I had to pay 27.04 I don’t think i will ever go back again and I will also getting in contact with the headquarters corporate office about how the staff handle this situation

Everything was just perfect the bacon crispy and the waitress was great.
