Minnetonka Drive-In - Spring Park

I've been living in Mound for almost 40 years. the prices have really increased for what you get. I ordered the 1/2 roasted chicken dinner and it was about $14 with taxes. although the taste was good I was surprised how small the pieces were. They seemed almost a bit bigger than a Cornish game Henne. There were 3 of us and everyone said they thought the chicken pieces were really small. We spent near $60 for the 3 of us, which seems really high for deep roasted food.

I just looked at an apartment near me and decided to stop here for lunch. I love eating in these dinosaur facilities in twin cities. This place had a good burger, it was expensive for the size I mean you could go to McDonald?s/ Wendy?s at the same price and get a bigger burger and whole meal. But the burgers and pommes were good. I'd come back if I were in the area. If you eat on their picnic tables, you will get a beautiful view of the lake.

I?ve been wanting to try the drive in for the past year, but had not had the opportunity. We tried over the 4th but they are closed on Mondays. Foiled! We made it tonight and we were disappointed in only one aspect:,the shakes and malts are too small for $6.59 each , I expected more than 12 ounces! Otherwise the food was great. I heartily recommend this place and we will be back!

Love this old fashioned drive in diner! Delicious burgers made anyway you want! Real delicious breaded Wisconsin cheese curds. Refreshing floats. The staff is wonderful! We will be back...!

Such a fun place to go with the family - especially on Thursday when they have a car show. They also sell pumpkins in their low season! Unique and local, great service!
