Spring House Tavern

The food was good. The waitress was in a hurry through the entire dining experience. She all but threw the drinks on the table followed up with throwing the salad dinner. We waited almost 20 minutes to order coffee. The flounder was extremely over cooked. She never came back to ask how dinner was or if we needed anything. When the coffee came, it was tepid. She did not want to know about the coffee bluntly said she would remove it from the check. She did not even offer to get a fresh replacement. We mentioned the experience to the manager and he did not want to hear it. He just said he’d take care if it stared blankly at us. Doubt we’d go back. They just don’t seem to care.

The experience for our table of six was very good. We enjoyed our brunch drinks and a leisurely pace for an afternoon reservation. Our server Tiffany was gracious and accommodating. I think most enjoyed their food well enough, but my huevos rancheros left much to be desired. Perhaps I 'm spoiled by having had them in so many California restaurants, but if you 're going to make a regional dish it would be wise to try some of the best around. I should have requested over easy eggs, but the meat was dry, the tortilla out of the package instead of lightly fried, and there was no enchilada sauce or salsa, hence no taste.

Birthday Dinner was ok I would give it a second chance

Good experience. Food was ok. I had the lamb which was a good but didn’t come out hot. My husband had the mahi mahi which was over cooked and also Not hot. Overall it was a good night but the food could’ve been warmer
