Pho Be Vietnamese Noodle House - Spring

The Pho is really good. However the rest of the menu is average. Don't order curry here. No taste and no sauce. My only real ***** about this place is that if you order a coke they bring you one can, and charge you 2.00. I have no problems with that fleecing and realize that it's part of eating out. However, when you ask for a refill and they bring you another can of coke and charge another 2.00 is where my ass starts getting chapped! 32.00 for 2 people at lunch is stupidly priced. Will not be returning anytime soon. At least not until I forget the bad experience ;

At least phó be is consistent in they still suck. I came here about 3 yrs ago and I was trying to introduce my parents to phò. Big fail! Stingy, 2 egg rolls rather than 4 at my favorite place up on 242. I had the phò with meatballs and sliced beef. I asked for the beef to be on the side. I like this because I can see the quality of the beef. I asked for water, no ice please... fail. Noodles were stuck together and felt like they were just thrown in from the freezer. The basil, lemon and bean sprouts were also stingy. More than 1 lime, sure but it's extra. I'd give this place one star but the green tea was sufferable.

Solid 3. Like the oxtail option, don't like that it's only one size. $17 for one bowl and water and tip. That's highway robbery for pho. Broth was too sweet. 2 large oxtail very tender. Skimpy on veggies and water refills. Will only go back if in the area. Pho is $5.95 in my hood not $17.

This place is conviennent, I'll give it that much. While the food isn't bad, it's not all that great either. Service is pleasant and fast. There's always seating available right away the place is always nearly empty. And the prices are reasonable too. It's just the food isn't that bold or spectacular. They do not seem to have any specialty dishes. You know the dishes that they do very well and really taste authentic. But with so few phó places in the near area I guess this'll have do to.

I've never tried Vietnamese food or Pho, so my review may be a little biased referring to taste. I was craving some type of Asian food (which is rare), so I thought I'd give it a try. I will say their customer service is AMAZING. Quang, the guy working the front, was so kind to me. He greeted me, and explained so many dishes to me. As a vegetarian who doesn't ever eat any Asian food, I had a lot of questions. I ended up picking the Vegetarian stir fry, which he recommended. I was also a little nervous about the soy sauce they use, but it turned out to be very delicious. I do think it was a little pricey, but you do get a lot of food. I would say their portion sizes are more for two. It was decent food, great service, and I ordered to-go, which was done in about 5 minutes. Some of the reviews for this restaurant seem a little exaggerated about service and what not, but I though they do awesome! Definitely satisfies a quick craving for Asian food.
