Mango Calabash Caribbean - Spring

If you like Caribbean food, try TriniJam in spring. Delicious dishes and staff are as friendly as possible. Not to mention the owner gladly and openly shared their faith in Christ with us.

Some of the best Caribbean food hands down! Your Ruck Chicken and Patties are delicious!! The oxtail is also amazing. I definitely come back to TriniJam and recommend eating here.

The food is really good. The owner is really sweet an amazing host. We ordered oxen that were very good. The only complaint I have is: I have a beautiful size Ottail and the rest were really small pieces at the end of the tail. Rice and peas were good. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant. Good food and good service! This is the only Caribbean restaurant in spring. Come on!

I had a fish sandwich that was decent. A very small part of the Koleslawe was served. Rice was too hard and shrimps were well overcooked until it was like bubble. Flavor was good. The Roti was too dry, like the old school way. The cattle patty was very good, but it's half the size I'm used to. They had the right incubator soda. The staff was friendly. The doubles were the best. They ran out of Curry Goat when I was there. I'll go again and see if they get another star. The chips and sweet salsa were really good.

Food was good! The only problem I had was the prices were a bit higher on some items and the amount of food was less compared to other Trini/Caribbean restaurants located in and around the Houston area. I had Ox Tails. I only received 4 rather small pieces of the delicious tails. Usually I'll have 7 to 8 pieces. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The owner and staff are super attentive and very nice people. I enjoy having a spot like this in the area.
