Bayou Cafe Oyster - Spring

What a wonderful place! As soon as I went to this place, I could say that it will be a cool experience. Greater space than expected. We had the shrimps diving and tuber balls as an appetizer and they were great. Gumbo was fantastic New ORLEANS style) Then I saw a huge tray of Crawfish delivered to a group of tables and had to have some. I found a new café that has everything I like. Not to mention the incredible band that started playing when we finished our dinner. So we drove to the bar area and sucked up the melodies. I'm often back.

First time visiting, we normally go to Captain Toms and was a little leary, BUT we were pleasantly surprised. Gumbo was great, crab cakes were delicious as well as the grilled redfish. Tartar sauce was awesome. Drinks were made too. Loved it and will b back

A few nights ago. It is a new restaurant so you can say that the service is still working out the bends. Don't let the discouragement from eating there. The service is better. The night we went there was live music. We had the alligator bits and that was excellent. They were like little nuggets with a kick. I've never had such an alligator. If you like spicy, I would definitely get it as an appetizer. I had the shrimp basket that was good, but the catfish was the best. The waiter recommended to try the banana pudding. It was to die! If I could buy it from the glass for parties, I would do it!

The place was fantastic! Half-priced drinks and a $5 cancer dish were excellent. We all enjoyed the delicious food and will definitely return.

What a fantastic place! Although it's a new spot and not very busy during the week, it was just perfect. The live band offered a wide variety of music and they were impressive. I tried the oysters, crabs, and gummy bears, and I must say, everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fresh with a wonderfully clean taste. The crabs were quite large, especially for this early in the season, and the aroma was captivating. The gummy bears were a fun treat! As for the service, it was excellent! I know it takes time to get everything just right, but they truly do a great job. Even another customer told the owner how great the service was! I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely recommend it to others.
