Bidra med feedbackI was reading through the old reviews and so many are incredibly bad and harsh. I experienced nothing of what I previously read. I walked in at 2:30pm on a Wednesday. The interior was immaculate, clean and well organized. I loved the old pictures on the walls of old fashioned 50’s Diners. My daughter and I were greeted instantly before we even walked to the counter by a male teenager. He was friendly and helpful. <br/ <br/ Our food came in a decently fast manner and the fries tasted fresh and hot. I ordered the number 1 which is a burger with ham and bacon on it. My 5 year old got the corn dog kids meal. I asked for tartar and when they called my order out, he remembered and asked how many I wanted. We sat and dug in. My burger was as expected, tasty and hot. The tartar was amazing, what you would expect from a burger joint like this. There were a few other customers who came in while we were there and all were helped quickly. Seems like some people like to complain about anything they can. One of the employees had his girlfriend drop off food for him and kissed him before leaving. Some of these people would totally complain about something simple and human like that. <br/ <br/ We spent $16 and overall for what we got, it was about right. Nowadays even a burger from McDonalds with a happy meal would be same price range and I feel the quality I got here was better. We would definitely come back again.<br/ <br/ After I left this, I went back up and ordered a shake. It was a 24 oz peanut butter and banana shake. It was a little spendy at $6, but very good. I was telling the worker about their bad reviews here and he was disappointed. I let him know I left them a nice review and he was very appreciative. It was good to see a young worker actually take pride in the company he worked for.
Good burgers. Fresh food, made to order!! I loved it!
The food was hot and fresh, service was friendly. I would describe the food as a notch above the big fast food places.
A long time ago...In a time not so far away Mom and pop burger stands ruled. Each with their own flair. Maybe it's a seasonal offering, a sauce or the right dill pickle sour to cut through a rich meaty bite. Burger Express takes you on a time warp back to a simpler time. Every order is made to order. There is harmony among the menu. The right crisp lettuce, freshest of bakery rolls...in fact every accoutrement seems to have balance. Did I mentioned they have week day specials? The 1/4 pound double gives In N Out a run for their money without a plane ride. One item left to sit and stare at.... The prices are still in the past I highly recommend
I really enjoy the freshness and more home prepared taste of the food. Both the tots and grilled chicken were excellent.
