Meridian 8 27 East Bistro - Speyer

We were in the Meridian for the first time on recommendation and were served very nicely. In a relaxed atmosphere we tried the recommended chickens and were not disappointed. Very well seasoned and super crispy. The beer garden invites you to observe the various aircraft, armchair balloons and helicopters. Thus, the location also offers a good entertainment for the whole family. Everything is very clean and the services even gave tips for further excursions. We are very happy to come back because the guest room is also worth a visit in bad weather.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices, (the chickens are a cracker! friendly service and interesting audience. We always like to go there.

You get a cheap lunch table (switching offers) and can sit out and watch starts and landings in beautiful weather. You should have tried the wine. It is also great that you can park right before.

You eat well and cheaply in the Meridian. And you can watch the planes. Very nice. And delicious.

With the pre-assessment of the Meridian, I called briefly about, if necessary. Reserve the table, which was not necessary, as was immediately explained to me honestly and openly. Bistro is located directly on the rollercoaster, in summer the beer garden will certainly invite many to stay not only the local planes. Due to the long-drawn road there are many parking possibilities, in the bistro there are many beautiful pictures and from the ceiling models of many aircraft. There are cheap daily dishes and the map is focussed clearly. The carvings are really roasted in the pan and not from the frying also the great curry sausage tastes delicious. The dressing of the salad was unexpectedly delicious: made yourself and not from dm buckets. Only the salad leaves are too big. The toilets are very clean but not heated and too dark (remember me to turnhall toilets). As I was told by the management in the conversation, it is also possible to close early, depending on the guest appearance. So if you want to come and eat > 18 a.m., a short call will be required. I am very positively surprised despite the determination of the initial assessment, this quality would not have expected in a "bistro trip". We will definitely come back and recommend it in the acquaintance circle.
