The crown has been very popular since my first visit in 1984. You have a wide selection of German cuisine that contains a healthy vegan menu. There are outdoor seating and the staff is great. You have a good choice of local, national and international beer and wine, with a variety of spirits with the always popular Asbach and Jaegermeister Apertifs. When I get to the food service, you're gonna start eating for dinner now! Rouladen, Jaegerschnitzel, Rahmschnitzel, Blutwurst, Bratwurst, Rindswurst with sauerkraut, Spiess or Bratkartoffeln awaits your watering appetite. Make sure you stay in the Mannheim region and enjoy the local cuisine and atmosphere of the Zur Krone.

I love this restaurant. It is very cozy and feels like going to someone's house. Sitting is limited so I would recommend the reservation. The service is wonderful. Even if they are busy, the servers are really inviting and accommodating. Portions are huge!

A great local restaurant. Service was friendly. We had made reservations for our Sunday dinner. the restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived. Our companions had the fish meal and we had the scavenger The portions were large and the meal was excellent.
