We had a fantastic experience at Schmiddy House. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The cottage was beautifully decorated and cozy, we didn't want to leave. The breakfast was also tasty. We highly recommend staying at Schmiddy House. The room was absolutely fabulous - cozy, clean, with a very comfortable bed. The family dog who owns the place was amazing and incredibly friendly. The breakfast was exactly what we had requested the night before. We loved the overall vibe of the place. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. This is not a review of the accommodations or hospitality, but a glowing testament to the amazing Robert Glen. My partner and I were in a car accident near their property, and Robert Glen were kind enough to come out, make sure we were okay, and let us into their property to calm down after we were shaken. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, and I would recommend everyone to stay at their place because they are truly amazing people.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I can't put into words how wonderful this place is and how perfect the food is. Russell is one of the most polite and kind people. The food prepared by Glen was simply the best food I have ever had. I would walk from London to here just to have that unique experience again.

Wish I could give 6 stars. The attention to detail and the service are exceptional. We dined there two nights in a row. One of us is dairy free and upon finding out about this on the first evening, Robert made a seperate menu with all the dairy free options for the second night. The service is the kind you would expect from a 3 star michelin restaurant. Everything is perfectly seamless. The food is also beyond excellent. Dishes arrived fast and were perfectly cooked, balanced and presented. You can tell the ingredients are local and high quality. Overall it's very reasonably priced for what you get, this is a restaurant that can only be recommended.
