Select - Spartanburg

I travel quite a bit through out the year. SELECT was recommended to me by a co-worker, so I thought I would give it a try. The atmosphere was standard but wow the food wasn't. I had the Pearls of Atlantis and the scallops were amazing. These were much better than any I have found on the coast. The service was amazing. The recommendations for wines were spot on and was told they will be supporting a lot of bourbon selections soon. All in all, this is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in over the past 5 years easy. I wish I lived closer. I would be here 3-4 times a week. I am already missing it and I ate there yesterday.

Planned our visit to have prime rib, which they feature on Friday and Saturday nights. This was absolutely the best I've ever had! Perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor. Great drink menu, it was unique and offered a wide variety to compliment an extensive variety of food. You can tell this place is not your Corp. Cookie cutter restaurant. The staff is very friendly and made sure we had a great experience. A hidden gem very worthy of becoming our favorite spot! Will be back very soon..... perhaps even to have breakfast tomorrow!

The food was excellent, and fresh. We also tried the Strawberry Pandowdy(which they said won a National award, and I can see why! and it was awesome too!

Food and drinks were excellent. The menu is extensive and has lots of items we would like to try.

The location in Greer is much better. The wait staff recommended the Prime Rib as it was Saturday night. We ordered the Prime Rib, let's just say it needs some improvement.
