Basil's B52 - Spartanburg

I had the ribeye steak sandwich and the other was their cheese burger plate. always a great meal when I eat in basils. for many years customer and tina is a great server and bearder...always great service with any waitress in basils.

Hit or miss... I would stick with the burger. A little pricey as well and no chicken tender adult entree'? I tried to order the kids chicken with a bowl of soup but was shot down by the waitress! Seriously??? I will chose a better option for lunch next time.

Eaten here for years. Food has been good 98% of the time. The last few visits Aug-Oct 2022 not so much, not sure what's going on. A few weeks ago I went for a birthday party and we had a group of 12. It was an early reservation so they weren't busy yet. Our waitress was not nice at all, my elderly parents have a hard time ordering and she rolled her eyes at my dad. We had an elderly lady at our table who ask the waitress if she could have her bill so she could pay and leave, she told her she has a hard time seeing at night and she needed to be headed home before sunset. The waitress told her she would have to wait until she had all the bills ready. Needless to say she didn't have the bills ready until dark. We paid her bill and told her to go home. The waitress didn't bring the bills until it was dark. I had potato soup that tasted like starch, their salad dressing tasted really off, it wasn't good like normal. I will go again because I've been going for years and it's been great. But I won't go too many more times if the quality of food continues to be less than what is normal and I'll never be waited on by the disrespectful waitress again.

We went 33 years ago to basils westside! we have returned countless paintings over the years. they are never disappointed! always delicious, hot eating and amazing cocktails. highly recommended! I get the pfefferkornsteak and todd gets the tips. on perfection!

I took out basil last night and it was absolutely perfect. the pfefferkornsteak was so tender that it could cut its fork. large meal
