Kanpai - Sparta

We ordered teriyaki chicken and sushi for takeout. The sushi was quite good and tasted fresh. The chicken was very good, the chicken and vegetables are served on a big pile of fried rice with a side of carrots, and soup and salad. We requested 2 soups (with no salad) because the soup is great!

Just got done eating here and the food was delicious...only complaint I have is they don't serve enough rice with your meal. I had to order another side order of rice which I shared with my children and still wasn't enough but we made it work. Lots of meat though...would eat here again if in the area. I had ordered the teriyaki chicken and shrimp.

Best Salad bar in Alleghany Co. Of course the food is great, I eat there often. If it was anywhere but Sparta, the place would be packed on the regular. Highly recommend.

The food here is outstanding. Our waitress, Maya, is the perfect addition to our experience—like a cherry on top of a sundae. She takes great care of us and is always ready with recommendations for something new to try. Come for the delicious food, and if you can, stay to enjoy the wonderful people!

My husband and I just finished dinner at Kanpai Japanese Restaurant in Sparta Mountain, and we were thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, and the food was hot and fresh. We ordered the F7 from the appetizer menu, and it was fantastic. The restrooms were spotless, and the atmosphere was very inviting. We hope to return soon. - The Huffman Family, Elkin.
