Tacos La Jolla - Sparks

The Al Pastor burrito at this restaurant is hands down the best I've ever had. I can't stress enough how amazing the food is here!

As everyone has mentioned, the food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. When we drove past, we noticed a long line extending out the door onto the sidewalk. We decided to check into our room and place our food order online. After about 10 minutes of driving, we arrived at the taco stand. We easily walked past the line, grabbed some sauces from the self-serve bar, and within 15 minutes total, our order was ready and our name was called out. Highly efficient process!

During our week in San Diego, we tried many restaurants, but this one stood out as one of the most memorable dining experiences. The food was delicious and well worth the 40-minute wait we endured.

Overrated--REALLY JUST OK. CARNE ASADA TACO WAS BARELY WARM AND THE SALSA BAR DIDN'T EVEN HAVE PICKLED CARROTS.

Recommended by a friend, it ended up being the best place we ate all week. Great variety of street tacos, burritos and nachos. I tried the “Grilled Pescado” taco, and could have had 3! Also try the “Carne Asada Fries.” So good. We were lucky and only had to wait about 15 minutes to order. But afterwards we saw a line that was more like 40 minutes. Give it a try if you’re nearby.
